Here is the difference between virtual and non-virtual:

Virtual Domain Name

This type of hosting is done by a major server that provides your own domain name url. This would mean that your URL would be :
<http://www.yourname.com>.  

If you want this type of URL http://www.yourcompany.com
then you will either need your own web server, or to rent a virtual server.
This is space on someone else's web server which has been configured to respond to requests for your domain. This service is generally slightly more expensive than non-virtual web space.

Non Virtual Domain
This is space on someone else's web server in which you have a subdirectory of their Domain name.

This service is generally less expensive than Virtual web space, because you simply have a subdirectory on someone else's web server, and your URL incorporates their domain name,
such as http://www.someprovider.com/yourcompany. This type of hosting is done through our server. Your URL would be: <http://www.dream-web-designs.com/yourname/or comapny name>

We can provide this service very quickly and effectively since it will be on our server.
